Join us in making a positive impact on the future of transit and rail systems!</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Support our Transit and Rail Group with the production of drawings, layouts, maps, corridor and 3D modeling, and graphic representations of engineering designs using Bentley OpenRoads / OpenRail. </li><li>CADD tasks to support the development of railroad terminal, railroad capacity, transit and highway projects. </li><li>Maintain, develop and direct efficient workflows within client specific CADD standards and workspaces. </li><li>Develop concept plans and construction plan sets including site layout, track, grading, drainage, utilities, and roads. </li><li>Create design details, schematics, and engineering specifications. </li><li>Collaborate with other project teams, such as structural, architectural, and geotechnical. </li><li>Prepare quantity and cost estimates. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction science or Associate degree in Engineering Technology / CAD </li><li>Experience reading and understanding construction drawings and engineering concepts. </li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. </li><li>Comfortable working on fast-paced projects. </li><li>Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and communication tools </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Engineer-in-Training (EIT) license or the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment. </li><li>Interest in transit and rail projects </li><li>Experience with 3D design software Bentley OpenRoads / OpenRail and document management infrastructure such as ProjectWise. 1 </li><li>1-3 years' experience, industry related particularly with civil design and drafting of rail and related projects. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Expected pay range $75 -107k based on experience and location </li><li>Career Development Kick-Start Grant Program </li><li>Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance </li><li>Vacation/Sick/Holiday Pay </li><li>401k </li><li>Flexible 9/80 (every other Friday off) work schedule </li></ul> <p>Transit, Rail, and Engineering Jobs with DEA</p> <p>DEA provides our clients with proven experience in planning, design and engineering, surveying, and construction oversight for a wide range of projects.
