<p>Manufacturing Engineer II - Portable Metrology</p> <p>York PA</p> <p>Contract -2nd Shift, 9/80</p> <p>Hours: 2pm - 11pm</p> <p>Pay Rate: $45.54/Hr.</p> <p>Benefits: overtime, medical, dental, vision, 401k</p> <p>REQUIREMENTS: Manufacturing Engineer II - Portable Metrology • US Citizenship</p> <ul> <li>4 year technical degree or relevant experience </li><li>Intermediate knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing </li><li>Experience using PolyWorks software </li><li>Experience using the following measurement/inspection equipment: o Portable CMM </li></ul> <p>o Laser Tracker</p> <p>o High Volume Scanner (ex. Surphaser) JOB DESCRIPTION: Manufacturing Engineer II - Portable Metrology • Conduct inspection and dimensional report generation utilizing laser trackers, Faro arms and high volume scanners.</p> <ul> <li>Generating detailed inspection reports for Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality </li><li>Conducting laser inspections of new design installations for integration into manufacturing </li><li>Performing inspection tasks for new designs and design changes </li><li>Interfacing with Design Engineering, Program Management, Quality, and Manufacturing to address product issues </li><li>Creating and delivering quality inspection plans and reports that provide data to Manufacturing and customers </li><li>Reviewing inspection data and assisting in the development preventative action plans </li><li>Retrieving quality data and communicating results and statuses to internal and external customers SKILLS PREFERRED: Manufacturing Engineer II - Portable Metrology • Engineering experience with relevant applications in a defense environment </li><li>Specialized technical knowledge of relevant military and commercial design standards </li><li>Knowledge of mechanical design </li><li>Knowledge of assembly processes </li><li>Experience with PTC Creo, SolidWorkds or other modeling software 76524 </li></ul>
