Responsibilities include overseeing tasks such as cleaning office buildings, performing maintenance, and conducting basic landscaping work at ServiceNet's 24/7 residential programs and office properties. The Job Coach may occasionally be required to take on additional duties as needed.</p> <p>About the Mobile Work Crew:</p> <p>The Mobile Work Crew, supported by Job Coaches, provides individuals with developmental disabilities the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and earn meaningful wages. This program serves as a training ground, helping participants develop the skills necessary to complete various jobs effectively.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Supervise participants and ensure tasks are completed to standards. </li><li>Foster skill development and independence in participants. </li><li>Operate power equipment (e.g., lawnmowers, chainsaws, snowblowers). </li><li>Assist with community-based employment and enclave work settings. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with power equipment, including lawnmowers, chainsaws, and snowblowers. </li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Two (2) years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or similar populations. </li><li>Valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). </li><li>Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. </li><li>Ability to pass a complete background check (CORI/Fingerprint). </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Proactive Approaches to Behavioral Challenges (PABC) preferred (training available). </li></ul> <p>Compensation:</p> <ul> <li>Starting pay: $19-$20.00 per hour (based on experience). </li><li>Additional $1.00/hour differential available for heavy equipment operation. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Generous PTO (time-off) package. </li><li>Comprehensive health and dental insurance plans. </li><li>Life insurance and long-term disability insurance. </li><li>403(b) retirement plan. </li><li>Tuition remission for eligible classes. </li><li>Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility and tuition assistance. </li><li>Opportunities for career development and advancement. </li><li>And much more </li></ul> <p>Learn more about ServiceNet</p> <p>https://www.servicenet.org/</p> <p>ServiceNet is an equal opportunity employer.
