<p>Under the general supervision of the Director of Educonnect, the Pharmacy Tech instructor will deliver an established Pharmacy Technician curriculum. This curriculum is focused on job readiness training that will engage and inspire students to become job ready by the completion of the course.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Serve as Subject Matter Expert in Pharmacy Technician for JEVS Educonnect </li><li>Teach five week Pharm Tech training course using established curriculum. </li><li>Prepare students to take the National Healthcare Association (NHA) exam; support those who fail to retest successfully. </li><li>Support and communicate progress with students. </li><li>Prepare students for a successful career in the Pharmacy or medical field of study </li><li>Maintain student attendance and grades; communicate student performance needs to the Success Coach and Career Navigator. </li><li>Maintain applicable industry certification(s). </li><li>Prepare students for externships and coordinate placements as needed. </li><li>Perform additional related duties and assignments as required </li></ul> <p>Required Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent required </li><li>1+ years' experience in a customer service, training delivery or relevant work experience </li><li>Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT via PTCB or ExCPT) or commits to becoming nationally certified within 6 months of hire </li><li>Proficient in MS Office applications, Zoom, and other learning platforms </li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. </li></ul> <p>This position is Monday-Thursday.</p> <p>18-20 hours depending on course.</p> <p>The base pay for this position is $35/hour. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
