<p>Job Title: 2nd Shift Quality Lead</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Quality Lead to join our team from 2pm to 10:30pm. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with quality standards and food safety regulations.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Review and approve records to ensure compliance. </li><li>Identify deviations and initiate Non-Conformance and Corrective Action (CAPA) investigations, including root cause analyses. </li><li>Manage the disposition of raw materials and products as Hold/Release/Quarantine and update the electronic WMS system accordingly. </li><li>Conduct basic food safety/cGMP and quality-related training for new hires. </li><li>Assist in developing SOPs related to manufacturing processes and production personnel compliance training. </li><li>Provide support during audits by regulatory and third parties. </li><li>Conduct and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual environmental testing as part of the Environmental Monitoring Program. </li><li>Collect raw materials for testing and sample finished products to collect data and identify sensory attributes. </li><li>Evaluate sensory characteristics for product approval and shelf life studies. </li><li>Collaborate with production personnel to correct processes when products are out of compliance. </li><li>Convey test results to appropriate personnel and follow up as needed. </li><li>Complete audits based on the production schedule. </li><li>Conduct and coordinate facility environmental testing. </li><li>Promote and follow GMPs within the facility. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Quality control and assurance </li><li>FDA regulations </li><li>Food production and manufacturing </li><li>GMP and HACCP knowledge </li><li>Experience with SQF, GFSI, or PCQI </li><li>Batch record review </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in Food or GMP Manufacturing Quality </li><li>Degree in the sciences is preferred </li><li>Training or experience in SQF, HACCP, GFSI, or PCQI is a plus </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This position is based in a food manufacturing plant with a 50/50 split between lab and floor work.
