<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Third Grade Teacher</p> <p>Bethany Community School has a need for a Third Grade Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.</p> <p>Salary Range: $56,798 to $98,195 per current Bethany Education Association Contract</p> <p>Benefits: Comprehensive Health and Welfare Benefits per the current Bethany Education Association Contract.</p> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Valid Connecticut State Department of Education Certification in Elementary Education. </li><li>1 to 3+ years of early elementary experience is preferred. </li><li>Experience with developmentally appropriate, inquiry-based teaching and learning. </li><li>Experience with Readers-Writers Workshop is preferred. </li><li>Experience with the Data Team process is preferred. </li><li>Experience with Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) is preferred. </li><li>Strong knowledge of instructional technology in support of student learning. </li><li>Ability to meet the needs of all learners. </li><li>Aptitude, emotional maturity, and stability are necessary for working with various types of children and professional staff. </li><li>Strong organizational, recordkeeping, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. </li></ul> <p>The Bethany Community School is an elementary school (PK to 6) located in central Bethany on an extensive rural campus. The school offers a supportive leadership team and staff and extensive instructional resources.</p>
