<p>Martin Marietta is currently looking for a motivated Lube Tech to join our team. The individual hired in this position would be responsible for performing mechanical repairs on diesel-powered mobile equipment including troubleshooting and repairs of heavy equipment, rebuilds, removal and installation of mechanical parts, and preventative maintenance on all types of diesel-powered equipment. This will be located at our Ames Mine located in Ames, IA.</p> <p>Key Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to work safely at all times</p> </li><li> <p>Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant mobile equipment including CAT, Komatsu and Volvo quarry/construction equipment/ diesel engines</p> </li><li> <p>Mechanically inclined on a wide variety of hand tools and power tools</p> </li><li> <p>Weld, cut and perform minor fabrication on plant or mobile equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Mechanical analysis</p> </li><li> <p>Time Management</p> </li><li> <p>Detail orientated</p> </li><li> <p>Problem-solving skills</p> </li><li> <p>Troubleshooting</p> </li><li> <p>Mechanical controls</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Experience Required</p> <ul> <li> <p>HS Diploma or GED required</p> </li><li> <p>3+ years of related experience</p> </li><li> <p>A valid driver's license</p> </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This is a full-time position that regularly requires 40+ hours per week in a surface mine setting.
