<p>SUMMARY:</p> <p>The SAP Systems Analyst plays a key role in supporting enterprise business and financial systems within the CDI IT Business Relationship Management (BRM) - Corporate team. This position involves the design, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of SAP applications across Finance, Procurement, and Human Resources. The analyst will work closely with vendors, IT teams, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and performance. Key responsibilities include managing SAP cloud environments, overseeing application deployments, and ensuring compliance with organizational processes. The role also involves active participation in project meetings, gathering requirements, and delivering training. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, proactive, and quick to master new technologies.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:</p> <ul> <li>Work as a technical analyst for financial and business enterprise systems with a focus on SAP cloud technology in support of application deployment, configuration, implementation, and integration. </li><li>Maintain day-to-day operations across business applications for operational support including system monitoring, user authentication and security, and operational maintenance </li><li>Configure and monitor SAP Identity Services, including Identity Authentication, Provisioning, and Access Governance. Manage SSO, Authorization, and security policies in accordance with regulatory & CDI standards. </li><li>Monitor and maintain network connectivity for on-premise and cloud services, working closely with IT operations and security teams </li><li>Coordinate upgrade and maintenance schedules, system alerts, and deployment lifecycles in collaboration with the functional IT leads </li><li>Ability to clearly define and create documentation to describe complex business processes flows and technical concepts, including reference guides and relationship diagrams </li><li>Conduct unit testing and rollout of customizations, custom objects, new enhancements, application releases and system integrations based on user/business needs. </li><li>Manage user defect/issue reporting queues and work to determine the root cause and resolution of the defect/issue. </li><li>Function as a liaison between business leaders and IT to communicate priorities, while managing technical requirements for enterprise and financial applications. </li><li>Excellent critical thinking skills and the capability of developing & configuring features in software with minimal definition or instruction. </li><li>Promote continuous improvement and assess effectiveness of applications and systems using process analysis and automation. </li><li>Work well in a collaborative team setting, coordinating work, and addressing work prioritization, escalating to management when necessary </li><li>Stay informed and updated on trends in automation, AI, and software integration. </li><li>Ensure compliance and audit procedures are followed according to regulations and CDI standards across products in close collaboration with functional teams </li><li>Other roles and responsibilities as assigned. </li></ul> <p>REGULATORY:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to obtain racing and/or gaming licenses as required in any jurisdiction where CDI operates. The Gaming industry is highly regulated and as such demands an extensive background check to obtain a license. Must be 21 years of age or older. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in information technology or related discipline and 2 years of related work experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. </li><li>Experience in technical software configuration, architecture, and integration. </li><li>Technical familiarity with coding and development tools (ABAP, Python, Groovy, JavaScript a plus) </li><li>Basic understanding of system integration protocols and security protocols (APIs, JSON/XML formats, SSO/SAML, common authorization protocols) </li><li>High level of competency with cloud deployment practices and cloud technology, including CI/CD processes </li><li>S/4HANA, SAP Basis, SAP Solution Manager / Cloud ALM, SAP Identity Services, SAP Business Technology Platform experience highly preferred </li><li>Three+ years of experience supporting enterprise and financial applications with strong business processes and financial systems understanding </li></ul> <p>SKILLS and ATTRIBUTES:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. </li><li>Regular use of a keyboard and mouse for typing and navigating software. </li><li>Viewing a computer screen for prolonged periods. </li><li>Ability to manipulate paperwork, including filing, sorting, and organizing. </li><li>Moving within the office environment to attend meetings, use office equipment, or interact with colleagues. </li><li>Occasional lifting of office supplies or paperwork (up to 20 pounds). </li><li>Speaking and listening to colleagues and clients in person, over the phone, or via video conferencing. </li><li>Working in a climate-controlled office environment with moderate noise levels. </li><li>Performing repetitive tasks such as data entry or document preparation. </li><li>Working under artificial lighting conditions typical of an office environment, which may include fluorescent or LED lighting. </li><li>Role is onsite five days a week at the Louisville, KY CDI headquarters office. </li></ul>
