It's our commitment celebrate talent: growing, developing and recognizing our people - it's the center of all we do.</p> <p>DC6 Training: Role Description</p> <p>Position Mission: Support OPS on assigned shift by being the link between OPS leadership, Training Team leadership, and frontline associates.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Disciplined Self-Motivator</p> </li><li> <p>Small department</p> </li><li> <p>Working in a solo environment for large portions of shift</p> </li><li> <p>Staying focused on assignments / projects / duties</p> </li><li> <p>Good Communicator</p> </li><li> <p>Partnering with all Operational departments</p> </li><li> <p>Communicating with all levels of leadership along with associates</p> </li><li> <p>Teamwork is key</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to be front and center in training sessions</p> </li><li> <p>Comfortable in front of large groups.</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitation</p> </li><li> <p>Floor Presence:</p> </li><li> <p>Be visible and accessible for leadership and associates by walking throughout the production floor, all departments. Take walking tour throughout the building multiple times a day.</p> </li><li> <p>Make contact with each department</p> </li><li> <p>Orientation of New Hires:</p> </li><li> <p>Obtain list of new hires from Hiring Center and Contingent Partners via email</p> </li><li> <p>Meet and greet new hires in the lobby.</p> </li><li> <p>Verify ID's</p> </li><li> <p>Check off list of expected attendees</p> </li><li> <p>Perform I-9 (Section 1-2) for each new associate.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform Orientation/Safety/Hazmat Training</p> </li><li> <p>Partner with OPS supervisors about assignments of new hires and department trainers.</p> </li><li> <p>Administration:</p> </li><li> <p>Microsoft Office Suite experience is required</p> </li><li> <p>Recording and communicating orientation rosters</p> </li><li> <p>Arrange for trainers in each department / Assign new hires to departments</p> </li><li> <p>New Hire communications to HC and contingent partners</p> </li><li> <p>Update orientation calendar and orientation rosters</p> </li><li> <p>Verify D#'s for each new hire</p> </li><li> <p>Record and create Hazmat and PIV licenses</p> </li><li> <p>PIV training scheduling and licensing</p> </li><li> <p>Scheduling and tracking associate cross training</p> </li><li> <p>Trainer development</p> </li><li> <p>Create and update SOP's for departments</p> </li><li> <p>Visual training aid creation</p> </li><li> <p>Daily recaps sent to training leadership</p> </li></ul> <p>Any special projects as assigned</p> <p>Click here for benefit details related to this position.</p> <p>Minimum Salary: $21.00</p> <p>VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown.
