The position is responsible for creating, operating, and monitoring Village Care Max Health Plan's pharmacy benefit program in accordance with all federal and state laws. Formulary management, clinical pharmacy services, and oversight will be essential to this role.</p> <p>Some responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Perform monthly quality monitoring of pharmacy requests and phone calls. </li><li>Review monthly pharmacy reports and prior authorizations as assigned. </li><li>Assist management by preparing and analyzing compliance/audit reports. </li><li>Review transition reports and ensure letters are being mailed within CMS defined timelines. </li><li>Investigates claim issues. </li><li>Answers phone calls from members, pharmacies and providers when the call center needs assistance. </li><li>Develops training materials and trains new hires as required. </li><li>Prepare research and validate information for both internal and external program audits. </li></ul> <p>We would like to speak to those who have a current NYS Registered Pharmacist Technician License along with 2+ years' experience in a Managed care environment and knowledge of Pharmacy Benefits Management methodologies.
