<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Provide assistance and support with primary focus in Human Resources and Leave Administration. Provide support to the benefits and payroll function.</p> <ol> <li> <p>Participation in the creation and coordination of leave policies.</p> </li><li> <p>Processing all MedBest leaves of absence to include coordination of FMLA, disability, workers compensation, NYS paid family leave, and sick leave, as well as tracking accruals, benefit premiums and accurate payroll processing.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure policies are managed according to current regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Processing and coordination of all MedBest ADA accommodations.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintenance of leave materials and distribution to employees.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain strict confidentiality and develop trust.</p> </li><li> <p>Confidential file maintenance.</p> </li><li> <p>Address difficult personnel situations in a professional manner, calmly and clearly.</p> </li><li> <p>Build employee databases and develop and print reports as required.</p> </li><li> <p>Handle routine inquiries.</p> </li><li> <p>Support payroll function/process with miscellaneous duties.</p> </li><li> <p>Support the planning and development of HR goals and objectives.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned/requested.</p> </li></ol> <p>Excellent computer skills to include knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, ADP and ADP Reporting. Must be able to access and utilize Federal and NYS websites for research and documentation of current regulations. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, maintain a high level of confidentiality, and demonstrated accuracy when recording and tracking personnel data. Must be able to work cooperatively and maintain composure while adhering to strict deadlines.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Associates Degree or pertinent college level courses and 3 years administrative/office management experience. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>Prior experience in Human Resources/Leave Administration preferred</p> <p>Work Days:</p> <p>Monday through Friday daytime hours--hybrid remote and on-site position</p> <p>Message to Applicants:</p> <p>Our benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, eligibility for employer 401k funding after 1 year (3% quarterly/5% annual on vesting schedule), tuition reimbursement, generous paid time off, including vacation and personal time, paid sick leave, holidays and floating holidays</p> <p>G4: $21.00 - $27.00</p> <p>Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only.
