Our team of highly specialized physicians provides comprehensive care for children with fractures, sports injuries, orthopedic conditions, scoliosis, spinal cord conditions, and spine injuries.</p> <p>We have an opportunity for a full time, Manager of Plant Facilities to join our team!</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>The Manager, Plant Facilities plans, manages, coordinates and budgets for all building operations including the engineering, plant operations, biomedical and environmental services departments.</p> <ul> <li>Oversees the regulatory compliance including The Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH), Fire and Life Safety Management. </li><li>Manages the mechanical and building functions of the department including EVS, engineering, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, locksmith and general mechanics. </li><li>Manages the EVS and facilities supervisors, and serves as a role model, mentor and coach to staff. </li><li>Seeks experience to expand and maintain skills and knowledge base and share that knowledge and skills with the respective departments. </li><li>Establishes financial and operational priorities and guidelines and ensures priorities and guidelines are met. </li><li>Acts as liaison between the engineering and EVS departments and various hospital departments. </li><li>Ensures responsible, timely and thorough responses to meet the needs of the Hospital. </li><li>Provides appropriate guidance and interventions. </li><li>Identifies problem areas and provides effective strategies for their resolution. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in related field preferred </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>4 years related work experience </li></ul> <p>Other</p> <ul> <li>Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager, strongly preferred </li><li>Joint Commission survey experience, strongly preferred </li></ul> <p>Shriners Children's is an EOE/Drug-Free, Smoke-Free Workplace.</p>
