The Clinical Quality Specialist must be self-motivated and able to prioritize a variety of complex duties to meet deadlines. This position requires a high degree of diplomacy and tact as they will be interacting with people at all organizational levels within the hospital and outside organizations as well. A high level of factual dependability, accuracy and understanding of current regulatory body standards and requirements will be required to be successful in this role.</p> <p>Required: Certifications/Licenses/Experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Active Registered Nurse (RN) in Kentucky or other compact licensure state</p> </li><li> <p>At least five (5) years of related clinical experience</p> </li><li> <p>Five (5) years of hospital quality assessment and/or quality improvement experience can be considered in lieu of educational requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication with physicians and leadership</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Certification/License/Experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>BSN</p> </li><li> <p>Previous quality assessment and/or quality improvement experience</p> </li><li> <p>Certification in applicable Quality or Safety certification area</p> </li><li> <p>Required within two (2) years of hire</p> </li><li> <p>White Belt Certification</p> </li><li> <p>Required within one (1) year of hire</p> </li><li> <p>Yellow Belt or Green Belt Certification</p> </li><li> <p>Required within two (2) years of hire.</p> </li></ul> <p>Other Key Words: Registered Nurse // Quality</p> <p>Department: Performance Improvement</p> <p>Campus: Henderson, KY</p> <p>Shift: Days</p> <p>Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week</p>
