<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Field and Franchise Marketing with automotive industry experience to lead our local marketing team and drive growth across corporate and franchise locations. Director of Field and Franchise Marketing will play a crucial role in developing, executing, and optimizing comprehensive local marketing strategies. This position will oversee the franchise marketing managers and specialists, providing leadership, support, and guidance to ensure marketing initiatives are successful and align with broader company goals. The Director of Field and Franchise Marketing would be the key strategic partner to franchisees and retail operations partners.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Strategic Leadership: </li></ul> <p>Develop and lead the overall franchise and field marketing strategy, setting clear objectives and KPIs to drive new car growth and brand presence across corporate and franchise locations. Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment with broader marketing and business strategies.</p> <ul> <li>Team Management: </li></ul> <p>Manage and mentor the field and franchise marketing team, including managers and specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Provide clear guidance, performance feedback, and opportunities for professional development. Behave as the primary liaison between the corporate field, franchisees, and the franchise agencies, and the FSA marketing team.</p> <ul> <li>Multi-Channel Campaign Oversight: </li></ul> <p>Lead and collaborate on the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns that engage multiple marketing channels and require local marketing activation. Ensure campaigns are data-driven, hyper-localized, and deliver measurable results.</p> <ul> <li>Local Marketing Expertise: </li></ul> <p>Operate as internal local and industry marketing expert. Including putting together POVs, playbooks, battle plans, and trainings for franchise and corporate store employees. Support local advertising efforts by developing scalable solutions that provide operators the tools, assets, and merchandise they need to run their stores more efficiently and effectively. Ensure adherence to marketing requirements for franchisees and review/guide marketing plan success. Develop and maintain library for digital, traditional, store signage and web assets for franchise and corporate needs.</p> <ul> <li>Market Analysis and Insights: </li></ul> <p>Conduct in-depth local market research to understand local consumer behavior, demographics, and competitive landscapes. Leverage these same tactics to develop a comprehensive new local program including new center openings, rebrands, and struggling center playbooks. This role will help manage and execute with franchise and field marketing managers and specialists. Use insights to refine marketing strategies and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Optimize the 'store of the future' by improving the in-store experience (e.g. lounge / lobby area). Own the communication plan on announcing store changes and drive the performance of the store for up to 6 mo. post change.</p> </li><li> <p>Budget Management:</p> </li></ul> <p>Own and manage the local marketing budget and franchise ad funds, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources across markets. Regularly analyze ROI of campaigns and report findings to the Vice President of Growth Marketing and other senior stakeholders.</p> <ul> <li>Vendor and Stakeholder Relations: </li></ul> <p>Establish and maintain strong relationships with local marketing vendors and partners. Collaborate with franchisees, corporate teams, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and alignment of marketing initiatives.</p> <ul> <li>Local Events and Community Engagement: </li></ul> <p>Oversee the development and execution of community-focused marketing initiatives, such as local events, sponsorships, and partnerships. Ensure that the brand maintains a strong presence in local markets, fostering positive community relationships.</p> <ul> <li>Cross-Functional Collaboration: </li></ul> <p>Partner with retail operations, digital marketing, brand marketing, and franchise operations teams to ensure local marketing strategies are integrated into broader marketing initiatives and business objectives. Work with internal stakeholders to ensure local considerations are part of the campaign, digital, and promotional process.</p> <ul> <li>Reporting and Performance Measurement: </li></ul> <p>Develop and maintain reporting standards, analyzing campaign performance, audience insights, and other metrics. Provide clear reports and presentations to the Vice President of Growth Marketing, sharing progress and learnings.</p> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field; master's degree preferred. </li><li>Experience in automotive required. </li><li>Minimum of 7-10 years of marketing experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role focused on local or regional marketing. </li><li>Proven track record of developing and executing successful local marketing campaigns in retail or franchise environments. </li><li>Strong understanding of both digital and traditional marketing channels and tactics. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Strategic Vision: </li></ul> <p>Ability to develop a clear vision for local marketing, connecting it to broader business goals and delivering impactful results.</p> <ul> <li>Analytical Skills: </li></ul> <p>Ability to translate data into insights, optimize marketing campaigns, and make informed decisions to enhance performance.</p> <ul> <li>Leadership: </li></ul> <p>Proven experience managing and motivating a team, driving collaboration, and achieving outstanding results.</p> <ul> <li>Budgeting and Financial Acumen: </li></ul> <p>Strong experience in managing budgets, allocating resources, and optimizing ROI.</p> <ul> <li>Communication: </li></ul> <p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively to senior leadership and stakeholders.</p> <ul> <li>Adaptability: </li></ul> <p>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment and lead a team through change.</p> <ul> <li>Salary $120-135k </li></ul>
