The SWAT /Float RN assists the nursing supervisor in maintaining patient flow, transporting monitored patients and other duties that assist in the smooth operation of the department of nursing. The SWAT RN rounds on units and connects with charge nurses and new RNs daily. Campus specific coverage for weekend infusions/ endo support. Responds to all RRT's and Codes. Offers just in time education and support to clinical team members while maintaining open communication to unit and hospital leadership.
