This position provides assistance to the Rewind operator and is responsible for preparing the machine to run and for finishing product.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Meets quality expectations by correcting defects in a timely manner</p> </li><li> <p>Reads customer orders, makes necessary corrections and notify operator if non-conforming material is produced.</p> </li><li> <p>Operate core cutter</p> </li><li> <p>May occasionally use forklift/roll clamp to transport product</p> </li><li> <p>Machine maintenance</p> </li><li> <p>Fill in as Rewinder Operator when necessary</p> </li><li> <p>Keep your work area clean and organized</p> </li><li> <p>Support your team with tasks like core cutting, wrapping, and maintenance</p> </li></ul> <p>What You Bring:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School Diploma or GED required</p> </li><li> <p>Previous experience with forklift/roll clamp is a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Basic mechanical and math skills</p> </li><li> <p>Strong attention to detail and a team-focused attitude</p> </li></ul> <p>Why You'll Love Working at ProAmpac</p> <ul> <li> <p>Work Half the Year!
