Supports the District Assessment Coordinator (DAC) and works in close collaboration with school-based staff, district departments, and external vendors to ensure successful assessment administration and accurate data management. In alignment with CDE guidelines, ensures that all technology readiness activities are completed well in advance of testing. Responsibilities include meeting all critical deadlines, configuring student devices and testing environments, disabling or removing software that could interfere with secure testing, proctoring cache test content when applicable, and providing ongoing technical support to DACs, School Assessment Coordinators (SACs), and Test Administrators.</p> <p>EQUIPMENT USED:</p> <p>Operate and use personal computers, related software and equipment (e.g. printer) and telephone</p> <p>ESSENTIAL ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:</p> <p>Mostly clean and comfortable</p> <p>ESSENTIAL MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Regularly required to communicate, critically think, collaborate, coordinate, analyze, evaluate, instruct, use interpersonal skills, problem solve, and make decisions </li><li>The employee is occasionally required to compute, synthesize, and negotiate </li></ul> <p>Position Specific Information (if Applicable):</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.</p> <p>Provide leadership, mentoring, and assistance to district and school-level staff regarding assessment systems and technology.</p> <p>Manage and maintain user accounts for staff and students on testing platforms, including account creation, updates, and reconciliation of errors.</p> <p>Co-facilitate planning, implementation, and processing of all district technology-based assessments (e.g., WIDA, CMAS, NWEA/MAP, READ Act), in coordination with the District Assessment Coordinator.</p> <p>Facilitate communication of assessment-related updates to schools, charter partners, and other stakeholders.</p> <p>Coordinate with vendors and external agencies (e.g., NWEA, Pearson, CDE) for system readiness, updates, and technical support.</p> <p>Lead and support assessment technology projects, including systems integration, software implementation, and process/procedure development.</p> <p>Support READ Act reporting and MAP licensing projections and ensure timely and accurate data submissions.</p> <p>Develop and deliver training (planning, documentation, implementation) and user guides/modules for school and district staff.</p> <p>Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure the functionality and successful implementation of technology-based testing systems.
