For more information, click here.</p> <p>Role reports to: Director Outsourcing Services</p> <p>Location: Summit, NJ</p> <p>Travel %: 10%</p> <p>Pay: $119,000 - $205,850</p> <p>What you will do</p> <p>The Sr Manager, IT and Professional Services is responsible for</p> <p>Supporting the daily management & development of category practices for Consulting services, IT & Professional services, including sourcing strategy definition, supplier negotiation, and stakeholder management, to maximize total cost of ownership, savings and procurement's value contribution while achieving compliance with policies, strategies, and processes</p> <p>Striving to meet the mutually agreed Procurement targets contributing to the overall budgeting targets</p> <p>Deliver financial, ESG, service, and innovation targets</p> <p>In addition to the elements mentioned above the IT and Professional Services Category Manager is accountable to define and achieve clear targets in conjunction with the respective Procurement counterparts and business stakeholders.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Defines Category Strategy for IT and Professional Services</p> <ul> <li>Analyzes category and defines category profile, incl. risk assessment, supply base assessment, demand management, consulting policy and SRM strategy </li><li>Benchmarks category practices to identify improvement initiatives </li><li>Builds category specific strategic plan in alignment with the regions / countries and aligns strategic plan to financial budget and global business strategies in alignment with global Category Manager and business stakeholders </li><li>Defines P2P and Buying Channel strategy, identifies and considers automation potential and P2P/Channel effectiveness </li><li>Deliver financial, ESG, service, and innovation targets </li><li>Daily management of tactical tasks aligning with category strategy </li><li>Leads global Information Technology and Professional Services category strategy implementation and savings realization </li><li>Initiates internal and external analysis (industry and supplier) </li><li>Consolidates requirements, acting as a business partner for business / other functions, supporting the alignment and optimization of specification with the business / other functions </li><li>Leads contract implementation and drives contract compliance </li><li>Is accountable for efficient alignment enablement / activation of negotiation outcomes by increasing the level of automated content within the category, instructing on new content updates and by providing clear instructions about the category strategy to enable compliance </li><li>Is accountable for savings delivery according to the mutually defined targets; including with savings and rebate calculations </li></ul> <p>Supports the work and efforts of a cross-functional Sourcing Team in all stages of a strategic sourcing project</p> <ul> <li>Collaborates and aligns with global / regional / local procurement teams as applicable </li><li>Collaborates with finance to reconcile cost savings & cost avoidances </li><li>Contributes to leading practice exchange throughout Procurement organization </li><li>Leads RFX execution including with RFX strategy & supplier selection and drives fact-based negotiations </li><li>Collaborates with legal to finalize contractual agreement and its administration </li><li>Works with Procurement Leads to implement and activate contracts globally </li><li>Manages commercial supplier relationship management with key suppliers within the defined category scope </li><li>Maintains and manages relationship with suppliers identified as key suppliers in the selected category and region, monitors performance of key strategic suppliers according to the guidelines </li><li>Leads supplier development activities; sets up cross-functional review meetings with key strategic suppliers in order to improve performance and further cost / demand reductions </li><li>Supports the identification of potential contract improvement opportunities and re-negotiations </li></ul> <p>Manages relationship with key stakeholders and business representatives</p> <ul> <li>Provides input on volume/ specification/ price to build smart consumption policies </li><li>Acts as escalation point for category related issues and drives resolution in line with global Procurement policies </li><li>Achieves "buy-in" from key stakeholders for major procurement initiatives </li><li>Is a business partner to the regional Category Manager to create and outline contribution for budget improvements </li><li>Manages relationship with regional and local business units. Fosters that needs are being identified, represented and incorporated into category strategies </li><li>Owns price information, contributing to budgeting process </li><li>Supports resource allocation between global and regional / local category initiatives </li><li>Promotes / escalates region specific procurement requirements on a global level including changes of local legislations and policies </li><li>Acts as point of contact for the business to assure business requirements are met </li><li>Deliver annual cost reduction/savings and avoidance according to the defined targets </li><li>Align to company wide Diversity goals and supplier value capture objectives. </li></ul> <p>What we are looking for</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree is required. MBA or other advanced degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Procurement, Legal or comparable profession preferred. </li><li>A minimum of 10 years' working experience in indirect strategic sourcing, category management, implementation, business partner and supplier management in the following categories </li><li>8 years' developing and executing procurement strategies for IT Managed Services, including outsourcing models that include SLA/ ARC/ RRC methodologies </li><li>7 years' developing and executing against demand management processes and procedures </li><li>7 years' experience developing and implementing programs for Strategic Consulting, IT Services and Financial Services </li><li>4 years' experience in people leadership, building diverse and inclusive teams, both direct and indirect reports. Demonstrated success in talent acquisition and people development. </li><li>Demonstrated leadership and deployment of best practices in ESG strategies is required </li><li>Proven track record delivering against a balanced portfolio of key performance indicators (KPIs) is required </li><li>Experience in identifying and harnessing customer oriented innovative solutions is required </li><li>Ability to influence and understand the diverse needs of stakeholders (e.g., IT, Legal, Supply Chain, Finance) is required </li><li>Expert category management, supplier negotiations and sourcing execution on a global basis </li><li>Expert in delivery with a focus on speed-to-market </li><li>Extremely good knowledge of procurement strategy development and conveyance </li><li>Strong knowledge of procurement tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Keelvar, Malbek) and data, content, and automation </li><li>Expert in risk and compliance management </li><li>Strong ability and understanding of contract law </li><li>Strong ability to analyze specifications and influence demand </li><li>Extensive capability to independently interact throughout the company </li><li>Project and process management knowledge and experience </li><li>Excellent presentation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills </li><li>Expert in MS PowerPoint deck preparation. High proficiency in MS Excel </li><li>Ability to manage very high volume of transactions on daily basis & manage conflicting priorities and perform at peak in a high-pressure environment </li><li>Language skills: Proficiency in verbal & written English essential </li></ul> <p>What's in it for you</p> <ul> <li>Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $119,000 - $205,850.
