<p>General Expectations:</p> <ul> <li>Continuously improve through education, professional training, and certification. </li><li>Represent the company in a manner that supports our mission statement. </li><li>Train adequate backup personnel to support your role in your absence. </li><li>Establish and maintain professional relationships with coworkers and vendors. </li><li>Treat your co-workers and clients with respect. </li><li>Communicate with honesty, openness, and transparency. </li><li>Act with integrity (honor your word), set the example, and be accountable. </li><li>Complete other duties as required/assigned. </li><li>Constantly seek to enhance/improve the company and its teammates. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Inspect welded joints, materials, and workmanship for compliance with applicable codes (e.g., AWS, ASME, API, ISO). </li><li>Verify welding procedures (WPS), procedure qualification records (PQR), and welder performance qualifications (WPQ). </li><li>Perform visual inspections before, during, and after welding operations. </li><li>Monitor welding processes, parameters, and techniques to ensure adherence to approved procedures. </li><li>Review drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine inspection requirements. </li><li>Identify nonconformances, document inspection results, and recommend corrective actions. </li><li>Coordinate with welders, supervisors, engineers, and quality personnel to resolve quality issues. </li><li>Prepare and maintain accurate inspection reports, logs, and quality documentation. </li><li>Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company quality standards. </li><li>Support audits, client inspections, and regulatory inspections as required. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification. </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent (technical degree preferred). </li><li>Strong knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW). </li><li>Thorough understanding of welding symbols, codes, and standards. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. </li><li>Proficiency with inspection tools (gauges, measuring devices, visual aids). </li><li>Travel and overnight stays. </li><li>Legally able to work in the US. </li></ul> <p>Valid Driver's License.</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.</p> <p>View Company Information</p>
