<p>Develops and maintains quotes under direction of the Product Manager utilizing SAP. Works closely with Product Manager, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Quality, and assisting Lab personnel with reports. Supports the development and qualification of new products by working with R&D and Product Engineering.</p> <ul> <li>Designing EF belts to meet customer specific requirements, which includes specifying fabric structure, sizing, seam style, any optional enhancements, as well as finishing and packaging specs </li><li>Management of quotes and technical aspects of orders in SAP </li><li>Follow up on customer irritations, complaints, and corrective actions </li><li>Develop knowledge of Albany products and manufacturing processes </li><li>Support R&D and product development </li><li>Attend Sales meetings, and department update meetings </li><li>Collaborate with global EF as well as with PMC technical teams </li><li>Participate in process improvement and work groups </li><li>Provide customer technical support </li><li>Customer visits, updates, technical discussions, seminars </li><li>Become familiar with specific field applications- this position is intended to progress into Applications Engineer role </li><li>Assist quality and manufacturing to understand customer requirements and participate in audits </li><li>Reads, understands and is committed to conducting business in accordance to Albany International's Business Ethics Policy.
