<p>#LI-AM1 #LI-Hybrid</p> <p>The Business Applications Specialist will be responsible for supporting, enhancing, and optimizing applications with an emphasis on SQL-based data analysis, system integrations, and vendor-managed platforms. This role works closely with business stakeholder teams and vendors to troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and ensure data accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.</p> <p>Essential Functions and Primary Duties</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary technical resource for business applications, including SQL-based applications, data integrations and data centric troubleshooting. </li><li>Perform ad-hoc data analysis and complex SQL queries to support business needs. </li><li>Debug, enhance, and optimize existing SQL code written by internal teams or vendors. </li><li>Partner directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze issues, and deliver enhancements. </li><li>Perform maintenance, identify root causes of data and application issues, and coordinate fixes with the business and vendors. </li><li>Coordinate with vendors on application upgrades and patches, scheduling and execution, user acceptance testing (UAT), communication and release planning. </li><li>Execute change management activities using ITSM methodologies. </li><li>Manage user access and security for vendor systems. </li><li>Respond to SOX audit requests and support quarterly/monthly audit submissions. </li><li>Provide ongoing production support for ConnectWise, Acumatica and other business applications </li><li>Provide support for application integrations </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Strong expertise in SQL, including stored procedures, performance tuning and complex query development/ debugging. </li><li>Proven ability to analyze and debug complex SQL code written by others. </li><li>Experience supporting application integrations and data flows. </li><li>Experience supporting business applications including ConnectWise </li><li>Ability to work independently on issue resolution while collaborating cross-functionally. </li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and requirements-gathering skills. </li><li>Experience working directly with business users and technical teams. </li><li>Experience working with external vendors. </li><li>Experience with Acumatica and IT security systems. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>College Degree or equivalent </li><li>6 years related experience </li><li>Expert technical knowledge </li><li>Knowledge of industry regulations </li><li>Ability to lead and coordinate the team activities of others </li><li>Ability to formulate, document and recommend new policies and procedures </li><li>Able to work in and lead a team </li><li>Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of an organization, both internally and externally </li><li>Ability to travel as required by business and on-call availability </li></ul>
