<p>Summary of Duties</p> <p>Responsible for cleaning, buffing and refinishing floors, cleaning carpets, and performing other housekeeping duties as assigned.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions</p> <ul> <li>Clean floors, to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, disinfecting, etc. </li><li>Clean carpets, to include vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting. </li><li>Buff floors using floor machine and appropriate pad and finish as needed. </li><li>Refinish floors using proper stripping or scrubbing method as needed or assigned. </li><li>Pick up accumulated trash and place in designated areas for storage and/or removal. </li><li>Clean exit/entrance door areas, to include removing trash and cigarette butts, cleaning glass with cleaner, sweeping mats, etc. </li><li>Clean equipment daily. </li><li>Notify supervisor when repairs to equipment are needed. </li><li>Scrub and clean shower room daily. </li><li>Clean assigned areas, pull trash, sweep, and spot mop floors. </li><li>Remove biohazard containers and properly dispose of them daily. </li><li>Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. </li><li>Comply with policies and procedures. </li><li>Perform other duties and responsibilities as required. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience</p> <p>High school diploma or equivalent preferred. No experience required. On-the-job training provided.</p> <p>Physical Requirements for Essential Job Functions</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to move about consistently throughout the workday. </li><li>Must be able to reach, bend, and/or stoop intermittently throughout the work day. </li><li>Must possess the ability to walk, stand, push, pull, bend, lift, and grasp, and fine hand coordination. </li><li>Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully met. </li><li>Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry up to 50 pounds utilizing proper body mechanics and assistance. </li><li>Must be able to push, pull, or move up to 100 pounds utilizing proper body mechanics and assistance. </li><li>Must be able to walk/stand 75% of the day. </li><li>Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position. </li></ul>
