Responsible for Employees' Performance, Development, Safety, Bio-Security, Animal Welfare and Work Schedule.</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <ul> <li>Weekly oversee the collection of accurate and consistent data </li><li>Create and implement process and data collection SOPs </li><li>Manage approx. 30 employee performance, providing positive and/or corrective feedback </li><li>Train and provide an environment for employees to achieve maximum quality and productivity performance </li><li>Promote safety throughout assigned work area </li><li>Generate weekly reports pertaining to KPI (Key Performance Indicators), data, and quality and ensure reporting requirements are fulfilled in a timely manner </li><li>Supervise, coach and train employees, providing professional development through ongoing feedback concerning strengths and areas in need of improvement </li><li>Plan and implement process improvements </li><li>Ensure safety, biosecurity, and animal welfare programs are followed </li><li>Coordinate maintenance and repairs for processing equipment </li></ul> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree preferred or 3+ years' experience in a similar production environment </li><li>1+ year leadership and/or supervisory experience of 20+ persons preferred </li><li>Proficient English language knowledge and skills (oral and written) </li><li>Bi-lingual Spanish Preferred but not required. </li><li>Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities </li><li>Effective interpersonal communication skills sufficient to communicate and interact effectively with all levels within the organization </li><li>Proficient knowledge and use of Microsoft office programs </li><li>Ability to work in fast paced environment with multiple priorities </li><li>High work capacity, dependable, results oriented and strong sense of urgency </li><li>Demonstrated sound work ethic, honesty and moral character </li></ul> <p>We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.</p>
