<p>MEP Superintendent - Electrical Focus</p> <p>Location: Boston, MA</p> <p>Schedule:Full-time, Monday-Friday</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>Join a high-profile project at the iconic Hynes Convention Center in Boston. We're seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent with a strong electrical background to lead and manage all on-site MEP operations. You'll play a key role in ensuring safety, quality, and performance standards are met while fostering collaboration across teams and trade partners.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead and document all daily MEP site activities, ensuring OSHA compliance and safety best practices. </li><li>Direct field personnel and subcontractors in alignment with the project plan and schedule. </li><li>Communicate daily updates, progress, and issues to the Project Manager. </li><li>Proactively identify and resolve field issues to maintain cost-effective operations. </li><li>Build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. </li><li>Collaborate with the General Superintendent and Project Manager on scheduling, materials, and personnel planning. </li><li>Develop and maintain the project's baseline and look-ahead schedules. </li><li>Ensure all subcontractors complete safety pre-construction meetings before mobilization. </li><li>Provide monthly schedule updates and two-week look-ahead reports. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience as an MEP Superintendent, with a strong emphasis on electrical systems. </li><li>Proven experience with medium voltage switchgear (4000 amp) upgrades and replacements. </li><li>Proficient in managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and subcontractor coordination. </li><li>OSHA Certification required. </li><li>Experience incommercial and infrastructureprojects. </li><li>Familiarity withPrimavera P6orMicrosoft Projectpreferred. </li><li>Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience</p> <ul> <li>10-20 years of industry experience. </li><li>Background in large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects. </li><li>Ability to manage complex electrical systems and upgrades in active facilities. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment & Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Collaborative, fast-paced environment with a focus on excellence and safety. </li><li>Full-time, long-term position (not a 1099 or short-term contract). </li><li>Comprehensive benefits package included. </li><li>Must complete two professional references prior to final submission. </li></ul> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $80.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job</p> <p>classification and length of employment.
