<p>Join our team and Be You Be Aptar.</p> <p>Aptar is seeking a Logistics/ Warehouse Manager based in Mukwonago, WI, this position is fully onsite. The Logistics and Warehouse Manager is responsible for establishing the strategic direction, resource and workload planning, and execution of all warehousing and distribution activities, as well as driving a safety and continuous improvement culture across Aptar North America warehouses.</p> <p>As a Logistics/ Warehouse Manager You Will:</p> <ul> <li>Leads the execution of receiving, warehousing, and distribution excellence through process management, inventory control, facility design, and measures of accountability for multiple warehouse and distribution center facilities, focused on safety and high quality work. </li><li>Manages all aspects of warehouse staffing, staff development and performance management, training and continuous improvement. </li><li>Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local warehousing/storage, material handling, and shipping requirements by understanding existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on recommended courses of action when necessary. </li><li>Develops protocols to ensure a secure warehousing environment, leads the facility in C-TPAT training. </li><li>Deploys Lean and warehouse efficiency strategies & processes with strong focus on sustaining practices. </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering / Industrial Engineering or Business Experience </li></ul> <p>Required Skills</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of five years of warehousing experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment that has deployed Lean Systems </li><li>Experience managing multiple sites and supervisory personnel </li><li>Familiarity with budget management and spend tracking </li><li>Working knowledge of ERP (SAP preferred) and other Warehouse Management Systems </li><li>Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and sanitation standards applicable to warehousing </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills</p> <ul> <li>Strong computer skills to include proficiency with the Microsoft Office </li><li>Excellent communication skills both written and interpersonal, along with ability to build strong relationships internally, externally and with all levels of the organization </li><li>High sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure </li><li>Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities </li><li>Strong analytical/problems solving skills </li></ul> <p>Who We Are</p> <p>At Aptar, we leverage insights, design, engineering and science to develop drug and consumer product dosing, dispensing and protection technologies for many of the world's leading brands.
