<p>Status: Part-time, non-exempt (approximately 6 hours/week)</p> <p>Reports to: Assistant Director of Teacher Education</p> <p>Supervises: None</p> <p>Dates of Engagement: July 15, 2025 - April 30, 2026; specific dates below</p> <p>The Artistic Director, Longy Side-by-Side, has a key role in Longy's Teacher Education department. They will work in close collaboration with the Assistant Director of Teacher Education, and the Side-by-Side faculty and staff. As a Longy staff member, this person will have the opportunity to contribute to the vibrant life of a music school committed to innovation and civic engagement.</p> <p>The Artistic Director will, in collaboration with the Assistant Director of Teacher Education, shape and carry out the short- and long-term vision for Longy's Side-by-Side program, overseeing all ensembles. They will work closely with the Side-by-Side Program Coordinator and Assistant Artistic director to brainstorm, problem-solve, evaluate, and set goals for the program.
