You will help set up portable mobile dental equipment, provide chairside assistance as needed, and educate patients on oral hygiene.</p> <p>At Vivie, we value our people and offer a competitive pay range of $30.00/hr. to $35.00/hr. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health coverage, wellness programs, and continuing education support.</p> <p>Let's grow together-apply now and discover the difference you can make at Vivie!</p> <p>As a Dental Assistant, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare Treatment Rooms and Patients - Set up treatment areas by following protocols, sterilizing equipment, and ensuring compliance with infection control policies. </li><li>Assist During Procedures - Support the dental hygienist by passing instruments, suctioning, and positioning materials to ensure smooth procedures and optimal patient care. </li><li>Perform Diagnostic and Preventive Tasks - Take radiographs, clean removable appliances, and assist the dental hygienist with charting and notes. </li><li>Educate and Support Patients - Provide oral hygiene instructions, plaque control education, and post-procedure guidance to promote long-term dental health. </li><li>Maintain Equipment and Records - Ensure the safety, functionality, and compliance of all dental instruments, maintain accurate patient documentation, and uphold confidentiality standards. </li></ul> <p>This job also requires:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma required. </li><li>Certified Dental Assistant training required. </li><li>3+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant. </li><li>Proficiency in dental health maintenance, sterilization, and infection control techniques. </li><li>Experience using dental technology and electronic health record systems, such as Open Dental, Dentrix/Dexis. </li><li>Ability to pass state-mandated background check. </li><li>Physical capability to perform all essential job functions. </li><li>Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with patients, staff, and visitors. </li></ul> <p>Additional Details:</p> <ul> <li>Employment Type: Hourly, non-exempt (eligible for overtime) </li><li>Department: Oral Health Program </li><li>Leadership Received: Director of Oral Health </li><li>Division: Shared Services </li><li>Travel Requirements: Yes </li><li>This role includes direct clinical procedures </li></ul>
