<p>Are you an innovative Electrical Engineer with a passion for designing cutting-edge electrical systems?</p> <p>Join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in transforming commercial, residential, and industrial buildings across the state.</p> <p>With a significant focus on K-12 school district renovations, additions, demolitions, and gutting projects, you'll be at the forefront of creating safe and efficient learning environments.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Design & Development: Lead the design and development of electrical systems using Revit or AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. </li><li>Project Focus: Spend 70% of your time on school district projects, contributing to renovations, additions, demolitions, and gutting of K-12 buildings. </li><li>Daily Tasks: Dedicate 80% of your day to design work and 20% to construction administration tasks, including client phone calls, RFIs, and submittals. </li><li>Technical Expertise: Prepare detailed electrical design drawings and specifications, perform electrical load calculations, lighting design, and power distribution planning. </li><li>Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to NEC, NFPA, and other relevant electrical codes and standards. </li><li>Construction Support: Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases, including field visits, answering RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, and preparing record drawings. </li><li>Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers, offering guidance on best practices and contributing to their professional growth. </li><li>Leadership Potential: Play a key role in the growth and direction of the electrical engineering department, with opportunities to step into a leadership role. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with proven experience in electrical design and project management. </li><li>Technical Skills: Proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD, strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA), and ability to perform electrical load calculations, lighting design, and power distribution planning. </li><li>Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. </li><li>Communication: Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration. </li><li>Mentorship: Experience mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance. </li></ul> <p>Please submit an up to date resume for consideration!</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $40.86 - $62.50/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
