<p>Position Overview: To safely and efficiently operate equipment used in the loading, unloading, stacking, and movement of shipping containers within the trucking yard.</p> <p>Must have Driver License and Pass MVR check</p> <p>Important Job Functions</p> <ul> <li> <p>Operate yard equipment such as forklifts.</p> </li><li> <p>Load and unload containers from chassis, trucks, and stack areas.</p> </li><li> <p>Move containers to assigned storage or staging areas as directed by yard dispatch or supervisors.</p> </li><li> <p>Position and align containers in stacks according to yard layout and safety protocols.</p> </li></ul> <p>Other Job Functions</p> <ul> <li>Ability to help at the gate when needed </li><li>Kneeling </li><li>Stooping </li><li>Bending </li><li>Lifting </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to operate equipment on the yard </li><li>Knowledge of depot industry and interchange procedures </li><li>Ability to operate yard equipment </li><li>Heavy forklift experience </li><li>Valid driver's license </li></ul> <p>Other Skills/Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Ability to detect damages on equipment </li><li>Ability to operate equipment </li></ul>
