<p>Overview</p> <p>The Cleaner Position is vital members of the club staff team. They ensure that the facility is clean and meets the expectations of members. The Cleaner / Janitor will be responsible for any combination of light cleaning duties on the gym floor, locker rooms and offices. Cleaner work under the direction of the General Manager.</p> <p>The position is for hours when the club is closed:</p> <p>4 hours per day, 4 days per week. Day time cleaning position. Compensation will be negotiated with the Regional Manager.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>The Cleaner performs any combination of light cleaning duties to maintain gym in a clean and orderly manner. They work under the direction of the General Manager. Some of the various duties include:</p> <ul> <li>Cleans glass and mirrors </li><li>Wipes down equipment, doors and floors as necessary </li><li>Empties trash receptacles daily </li><li>Sweeps and mops floors </li><li>Changes light bulbs as necessary </li><li>Cleans all fitness equipment, bathrooms (tile, showers, walls and sink, mirrors, lockers) </li><li>Dusts daily </li><li>Mops and sweeps floors </li><li>Picks up debris and mops rubber floor </li><li>Replaces or adds required supplies in locker rooms </li><li>Cleans vacuum cleaner bags or canister daily </li><li>Reports maintenance problems in an accurate and timely matter </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>At least three (3) months experience in cleaning or janitorial experience </li><li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred </li><li>Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing </li><li>Must have excellent organization, interpersonal and time management skills </li><li>Must have proven ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously </li><li>Must be able to collaborate and work as part of a team in a professional manner </li></ul>
