The Chief of Psychiatry is responsible for the planning, management, coordination, evaluation and integration of psychiatric services. You will write orders for treatment and necessary studies of assigned consumers, make daily rounds, perform necessary psychotherapy and counseling, and formulate treatment plans with the assistance of the Treatment Team. You will also testify as an expert psychiatric witness in legal proceedings regarding consumers. In addition, you will have an opportunity to develop policies and procedures governing the administration of all services and participate on hospital administrative and policy committees requiring psychiatric expertise.</p> <p>Interested in learning more?
