<p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>The Supervisor is responsible for assisting with the leadership, coordination, reporting and other communication related to the day-to-day operations of the facility; including such issues as safety, quality, waste, productivity, operation costs, housekeeping, sampling and testing. Supervisor is to assure the facility is safely operated in an efficient manner and ensure the up time of process and manufacturing equipment/systems within specified performance parameters.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Comply with Eco Material Technologies Safety Policies and Procedures </li><li>Responsible for assisting the Superintendent in managing operation detail. This position oversees the facility in the absence of the Superintendent </li><li>Always manage aspects of the safety program and lead by example in performing in a safe manner </li><li>Assist in managing daily plant operational issues and keep the Superintendent informed of such </li><li>Stay informed of issues in the plant and ensure effective resolution of identified issues and needs </li><li>Assist in identifying maintenance issues and coordinate maintenance scheduling (internal and external resources) as needed, to minimize production downtime </li><li>Provide personnel and resources to plant maintenance technician as needed </li><li>Assure that current sampling, testing protocols and subsequent reporting are properly handled </li><li>Maintain positive customer relations and adherence to contract </li><li>Assists in overseeing the work of others contracted to work on plant components </li><li>Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Ability to interpret and follow policies and procedures and all safety guidelines </li><li>Must be able to recognize hazards and safety measures to be implemented </li><li>Ability to plan and direct the work of others </li><li>Ability to perform, analyze and interpret laboratory tests for the purpose of making operational adjustments </li><li>Ability to deal effectively with people at all levels </li><li>Knowledge of processes involved in the operation of the FGD Dewatering Operation </li><li>Problem solving and analytical skills </li><li>Excellent written, verbal and listening skills </li><li>Excellent planning, organizing, prioritizing, and time management skills </li><li>Ability to recognize, reward and promote positive performance </li><li>Must have working knowledge of spreadsheets, databases, word processing and other related software </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE</p> <p>The employee should have the following:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>1 - 2 years' experience in a relevant field </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT</p> <p>The employee should possess the ability to:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds </li><li>Moderate physical effort required </li><li>Regularly required to sit or stand, reach, bend and move about the facility </li><li>Hearing, vision and hardhat protection is provided and should be used in designated areas. </li><li>Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions </li><li>Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that maybe uncomfortable </li><li>Complete repetitive movements </li><li>Must be able to ascend/descend stairs or ladders </li></ul> <p>This is not necessarily an all-inclusive list of job-related responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts, requirements or working conditions.
