RGI, established in 1908, has the distinction of being recognized as the largest privately held aggregate producer in the United States.</p> <p>We have 86 quarries and 56 asphalt plants across Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Arkansas, Texas, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio.</p> <p>Rogers Group is seeking candidates to fill our position as an Asphalt Plant Batch and Drum Operator in Crab Orchard, TN.</p> <p>Key Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for safely operating and maintaining the asphalt plant and construction equipment to ensure equipment is properly maintained and serviced as needed. </li><li>Determining proper quantities of materials needed to produce asphalt </li><li>Adjusting controls to regulate the flow of materials </li><li>Maintaining the speed of systems </li><li>Ensuring the plant is operating at the proper temperature. </li><li>Perform walk-around and site inspections for all equipment to identify and correct unsafe conditions. </li><li>Monitor inventory levels of all mix materials. </li><li>Monitor production levels and adjust production as needed. </li><li>Supervise employees at the plant. May be designated to train employees as needed. </li><li>Ability to weld using an arc welder and cutting torch a plus. </li><li>Monitor plant site to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow. </li><li>Troubleshoot, problem solve and successfully discuss production problems with co-workers and supervisors. </li><li>Accurately complete plant reports and other documentation as needed.
