<p>We are seeking a Senior Advanced Cryogenic Engineer in our Broomfield, CO Location.</p> <p>We are seeking a skilled and motivated Advanced Cryogenics Engineer to join our team in developing and maintaining advanced cryogenic infrastructure and delivery systems. This role focuses on the design, optimization, and support of systems that ensure the efficient and safe utilization of liquid helium. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in cryogenics, gas processing, instrumentation, controls, or electrical systems, and a passion for innovation in high-performance engineering environments.</p> <p>All applicants for placement in safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the design and development of cryogenic systems, with a focus on liquid helium applications, independently and with minimal supervision. </li><li>Optimize existing systems for maximum efficiency, reliability, and performance. </li><li>Contribute to R&D projects aimed at improving cryogenic processes and expanding application capabilities. </li><li>Install, commission and troubleshot cryogenic turbomachinery, control instrumentation and associated control systems </li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, scientists, cryogenic operations, and project teams to ensure successful system integration and implementation. </li><li>Stay current with advancements in cryogenic technologies and industry best practices and apply relevant innovations to ongoing work. </li><li>Maintain comprehensive documentation related to cryogenic systems, including process workflows, control configurations, and safety procedures. </li></ul> <p>YOU MUST HAVE:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree minimum </li><li>Minimum 4 years' experience working specifically with controls and instrumentation used in process automation/control applications. </li><li>Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person. defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status </li><li>Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen. </li></ul> <p>WE VALUE:</p> <ul> <li>Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. </li><li>Proficiency in controls software for controls systems and/or CAD software for system design and modeling. </li><li>Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations pertaining to cryogenic materials. </li><li>Strong foundation in engineering principles, including thermodynamics and heat transfer. </li><li>In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory standards related to cryogenic materials. </li><li>Advanced certifications or specialized training in cryogenic engineering. </li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues. </li><li>Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and non-technical audiences. </li></ul> <p>$120,000 - $150,000 a year</p> <p>Compensation & Benefits:</p> <p>Non-Incentive Eligible</p> <p>Estimated Salary Wage: $120,000 - $150,000 Annually</p> <p>Quantinuum is the world's largest integrated quantum company, pioneering powerful quantum computers and advanced software solutions.
