This role is critical in maintaining production schedules and inventory accuracy.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Track open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery. </li><li>Communicate daily with suppliers to confirm order status, shipping details, and resolve delays. </li><li>Coordinate with procurement, planning, and warehouse teams to manage inventory flow. </li><li>Update ERP systems with shipment details, delivery confirmations, and rescheduled dates. </li><li>Escalate and expedite critical or late orders to prevent production delays. </li><li>Monitor supplier performance and provide feedback to the procurement team. </li><li>Assist in resolving shipping discrepancies and invoicing issues. </li></ul> <p>Critical Tasks:</p> <ul> <li>Recognize opportunities for improvement and implement corrective action proactively. </li><li>Organize and complete daily task requirements. </li><li>Daily PO tracking administration. </li><li>Maintain professional business contact with vendors and suppliers. </li></ul> <p>Important Tasks:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure work orders are created for requests. </li><li>Purchase orders must be entered accurately and correctly in a fast-paced mode. </li><li>Filing old purchase orders daily. </li><li>Must be able to maintain professional demeanor in fast-paced work environment. </li><li>Use of various computer systems and software. </li><li>Assist others as needed. </li><li>Use of Microsoft office software. </li><li>Occasionally meet with internal team members, suppliers and or customers. </li><li>Work with vendors and team members to meet customer expectations. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>An individual in this job must have attained a minimum of HS Diploma or its equivalent. The preferred candidate would have a minimum of 3 years' industry experience in a manufacturing environment and be proficient in MS office with advance Microsoft Excel skills. The candidate must have an attention to detail.</p> <p>Skills:</p> <p>The qualified candidate must exhibit good decision making, problem solving and excellent organizational abilities and an attention to detail. Additionally, the candidate must have high school level mathematical skills.
