<p>POSITION: Teacher Aide LOCATION: Chatsworth Avenue School HOURS: Monday - Friday, 30 hours per week SUPERVISOR: Building Assistant Principal DATE POSITION IS AVAILABLE: Immediately RESPONSIBILITIES - Special Education Aide: Support of students with special needs as per their IEPCollaboration with special education teacher and other staff members on behalf of the student's successMonitor the health and well-being of studentsEffectively communicate with classroom teacher and administrationWillingness to obtain and employ Crisis Prevention and Intervention TrainingData collection and implementation of behavior plansAssist classroom teacher as neededOther duties as assigned PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:A professional, patient, and calm demeanor with children of all agesExperience with children who have attentional, behavioral/emotional, and academic challenges COMPENSATION: In accordance with the Agreement between the Board of Education and the Mamaroneck Teacher Aides Unit.$16.00 per hour - $21.09 per hour</p> <p>OLAS is an online job application system for K-12 Education.
