We challenge and empower you to make the most of your talents, working with outstanding colleagues from diverse backgrounds who share your drive and passion to make Jabil grow!</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>Support the site work cells by receiving and interpreting product-related information from the customer to perform the technical activities that must be completed before the product build can occur or be scheduled including manufacturing execution systems configuration and label design and validation. Exercises and trains on best practices configuration techniques and obtaining the best standardized system configuration.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li> <p>Serve as the functional expert for all manufacturing execution systems and related tools.</p> </li><li> <p>Support other users in typical and advanced questions that require research to solve.</p> </li><li> <p>Track and collaborate about all changes/enhancements to existing MES systems including upgrades</p> </li><li> <p>Provide support to the regional SMEs</p> </li><li> <p>Work with regional & sites SMEs to implement Jabil best practices in the site</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain and develop documentation for responsible area.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in the exchange of ideas and information within the department.</p> </li><li> <p>Collect & identify creative ways to reduce costs by streamlining processes and systems (i.e. modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value-added processes, or complete re-engineering of processes and systems).</p> </li><li> <p>Clarify and define the standardization Manufacturing Execution System configurations</p> </li><li> <p>Support and/or maintain all lower-level MES SMEs essential duties and responsibilities</p> </li><li> <p>Support, assist, and advise DF team on new & actual processes reliability, profitability, and accuracy of new solutions assumptions</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure the standardization of Jabil processes throughout the site in accordance with the global, regional and site direction</p> </li><li> <p>May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>JOB QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Understanding and application of broad range of MES system (i.e. MES 4.0, MES, iFactory, CM) </li><li>Demonstrated Hands-on experience in the required process. </li><li>Advanced Knowledge about manufacturing e2e process & all related activities </li><li>Understanding of Jabil's global strategies and direction </li><li>Understanding of site's facilities, capabilities and how they tie back to the Jabil strategies and direction </li><li>Strong communication skills </li><li>Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety standards & requirements - Understanding of Quality Systems applied to internal manufacturing processes </li><li>Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, SQL skills required </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Degree in Industrial, Process or Manufacturing Engineering required (will consider other candidates that meet work experience criteria) </li><li>BS in Process or Industrial Engineering or MBA preferred </li><li>·At least 5 years of working experience with 3 years of experience in Manufacturing or related field </li><li>Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience </li></ul> <p>Jabil, including its subsidiaries, is an equal opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.</p> <p>The pay range for this role is $65,500 - $117,900.
