Facility Maintenance Custodian performs a variety of cleaning and custodial work in the building and grounds. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Facility Maintenance Custodian performs routine grounds keeping work and performs basic maintenance assignments.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Promote Safety as the Number One Priority for all HTC employees. </li><li>Sweeps, mops, waxes, and floors. </li><li>Empties and cleans waste disposal, cleans restrooms when needed and the shop floor. </li><li>Paints required assigned areas and projects. </li><li>Maintaining clean and organized work areas and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks. </li><li>Maintaining teamwork with other associates. </li><li>Basic building repairs include patching walls, replacing ceiling tiles and other general maintenance and construction duties around the facility. </li><li>Performing other duties as assigned by supervision. </li><li>Troubleshooting and resolution abilities. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment used in custodial work. </li><li>Knowledge of ground keeping equipment and procedures. </li><li>Basic knowledge of building maintenance methods, tools, and equipment. </li><li>Capable of using standard tools and measurement devices. </li><li>Ability to perform basic building maintenance work and assignments. </li><li>Ability to operate custodial and cleaning equipment. </li><li>Ability to use hand and power tools. </li><li>Ability to perform physical labor. </li><li>Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions. </li><li>Ability to interpret safety instructions and other related documents. </li><li>Ability to contribute as part of a team. </li><li>Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. </li><li>Positive attitude, good judgment, and excellent time management skills. </li><li>Strong sense of responsibility and ownership! </li></ul>
