As a key member of the clinical team, the attending will report to the Director Dr. Cusin and will provide the full scope of psychiatric services which fall under his/her field of training, including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of care.</p> <p>What You'll Work On</p> <p>The Nurse Practitioner will be primarily accountable for:</p> <ul> <li>Reviewing charts prior to the shift, attending rounds to discuss complex cases </li><li>Providing coverage on the service, making clinical decisions about dosing and follow ups, evaluating and treating patients, identifying safety concerns, discussing with the team members (Nurses, medical assistants, administrative personnel). </li><li>Documentation (monitoring forms, REMS as needed, procedure notes). </li><li>Coordinating care with other providers or research team as needed. </li><li>Medication reconciliation </li><li>Billing </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Skills and Experience for a Nurse Practitioner</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 2 years advanced practice experience, required. </li><li>Previous nursing experience required. </li><li>Previous psychiatric and mental health experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>Education/Degree for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's and master's in nursing required </li><li>Current federal and state-controlled substance certification/registration. </li></ul> <p>How We'll Support You</p> <p>? The NP is responsible for the assessment and management of various populations of patients, medical and/or surgical, including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, development of appropriate plans of care and ongoing evaluation. May also perform additional duties, such as precepting a small group of learners.</p> <p>Does this position require Patient Care?
