This includes diagnosing mechanical issues, conducting routine maintenance, and ensuring all equipment operates efficiently to support construction projects. The role requires expertise in fleet vehicle repair, a strong understanding of concrete equipment, and strict adherence to safety standards. The Mechanic collaborates with supervisors to minimize equipment downtime and ensure projects are completed on schedule.</p> <p>Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform preventative maintenance on ready-mixed concrete trucks and other equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain equipment logs.</p> </li><li> <p>Retrieve and repair disabled vehicles.</p> </li><li> <p>Follow all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.</p> </li><li> <p>In-person attendance is required.</p> </li></ul> <p>Other Required Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Possess and maintain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL), or willingness to obtain within 12 months of hire.</p> </li><li> <p>Prolonged periods of standing.</p> </li><li> <p>Safely access and navigate the facility, including climbing and descending ladders.</p> </li><li> <p>The position will require work outside of normal business hours.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.</p> </li></ul> <p>Skills/Abilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Efficient and safe maintenance of vehicles, as demonstrated by training and experience, in:</p> </li><li> <p>Diesel engines.</p> </li><li> <p>Drivetrains, including transmissions, clutches, and axles.</p> </li><li> <p>Truck systems, including lubrication, cooling, fuel, electrical, hydraulic, suspension, steering, and exhaust.</p> </li><li> <p>Brakes.
