In this role, you will deliver Mental and Behavioral Health Services to adolescents, youth and children, as well as their families, who have been identified by public and private referrals and county agencies. Referral sources may include County Courts, Family and Children First Council, other County and non-County Agencies, self-referrals, schools, and healthcare providers.</p> <p>Under the general supervision of the Clinical Supervisor or designee, you will work closely with youth, family, foster parents, and community partners, providing counseling or therapy, advocacy and support toward the ultimate goal of living safely and successfully in the community.</p> <p>Working at NYAP</p> <ul> <li>Phone reimbursement: $50 per month when using your personal device. </li><li>22 Days of Paid Time Off </li><li>11 Paid Holidays </li><li>Half-Day Fridays during the summer </li><li>Student Loan supplemental Payment assistance after 30 days of employment for qualifying loans </li><li>Free supervision for those employees seeking Independent Licensure hours </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provides appropriate individual, group, and family mental health services, and other evidence based clinical services as required. </li><li>Travels daily, to provide community based services to, and on behalf of, youth and families in compliance with organizational, contract, and regulatory requirements. </li><li>Coordinates and monitors clinical services for the youth and family in the community, including mental health, special educational services, medication management, and psychological services. </li><li>Regularly reviews and modifies youth-based plans. </li><li>Establishes and maintains strong relationship with foster parents and families of origin. </li><li>Assists in family reunification and stabilization efforts with the youth's primary family or other permanent living arrangement consistent with the youth's case plan. </li><li>Provides safety assessment, crisis response, and behavioral stabilization services as required. </li><li>On-call rotation duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (BSW) required </li><li>LSW required </li><li>Minimum 3 years of solid clinical experience required </li><li>Must demonstrate ability to work independently </li><li>Strong experience in providing individual and family services required </li><li>Experience working in direct service with youth and families required </li><li>Experience with TF-CBT preferred </li><li>Daily travel required with the willingness to meet clients on a flexible schedule </li><li>Must be comfortable providing services in the community and in client homes </li></ul> <p>Driving and Vehicle Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Valid driver's license </li><li>Reliable personal transportation </li><li>Good driving record </li><li>Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability </li></ul> <p>NYAP is participating agency in the Great Minds Fellowship and Great Minds Workforce Commitment Incentive Programs.</p> <p>Apply today!</p> <p>www.nyap.org/employment</p> <p>Benefits listed are for eligible employees as outlined by our benefit policy.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>An Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/veterans.</p>
