<p>AI Workflow Builder Intern (Excel + Copilot + Automation)</p> <p>Why this role exists</p> <p>We're looking for someone who loves to tinker with AI tools and turn "busywork" into repeatable, auditable workflows. A lot of our work starts with exports (ex: Dynamics 365 ERP) and ends with clean outputs and insights in Excel, dashboards, or simple apps. If you naturally ask "why are we doing this manually?" and then build the fix - this is for you.</p> <p>This is not an IT specific role. It's a builder role inside the business.</p> <p>What you'll do</p> <ul> <li>Take recurring manual processes (especially around Excel + exported data + PDFs) and redesign them into cleaner workflows using the tools we already have. </li><li>Use Microsoft tools like Copilot in Excel/Word/PowerPoint to speed up analysis, structure messy info, and reduce repetitive work. </li><li>Build lightweight automation where it makes sense (Power Automate is a plus, not a requirement) </li></ul> <p>What we're looking for (must-haves)</p> <ul> <li>You actively play with AI tools to make work faster (prompting, summarizing, pattern-finding, drafting) </li><li>Builder mindset + work ethic: you take ownership, follow through, and ship </li><li>Curiosity and willingness to learn fast </li></ul> <p>Nice-to-haves (not required)</p> <ul> <li>Any Power Platform experience (Power Automate / Power Apps / Copilot Studio) </li><li>Familiarity with Dynamics 365 ERP exports or working with operational/finance data </li><li>Excel instincts (cleaning data, organizing exports, building useful templates) </li><li>Power Query experience </li></ul> <p>What success looks like</p> <ul> <li>A manual weekly process becomes a repeatable workflow that saves hours. </li><li>Teams spend less time searching PDFs/spreadsheets and more time acting on insights. </li></ul> <p>Work style</p> <ul> <li>You don't need to be "technical IT," but you do need to be the type who experiments, iterates, and learns. </li><li>You'll be trusted with real work and real outcomes. </li></ul> <p>Position Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Currently enrolled in a Data Analytics or Statistics program as a junior or senior. </li><li>Bama is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce. * </li></ul>
