<p>Responsible for driving the successful design, development and implementation of products, while optimizing existing products to ensure competitiveness (retail banking, commercial banking, wealth management). Seeks new markets and unique sales & delivery channels to maximize profitability and meet customer needs. Sets strategic direction for the product and acts as a champion and advocate internally.</p> <ul> <li>Performs comprehensive marketing research to uncover potential opportunities and understand the competitive landscape. Follows trends in the marketplace, maintaining an awareness of market conditions, rates, product design, etc.; recommends changes and/or improvements to management. </li><li>Leverages internal and third-party systems to generate reports, analyze data, and identify opportunities. </li><li>Serves as primary manager of the Marketing Customer Information File (MCIF) system, ensuring integrity, security, and privacy of customer data; designs queries and creates reports to supply branches and departments with product insights and customer lists. </li><li>Manages the scope of development for new products and on-going enhancements, communicating needs to the IT Steering Committee and/or external vendors. </li><li>Oversees the implementation of products and product strategies, ensuring they are delivered on schedule. </li><li>Works with management to set, adjust or implement pricing when necessary. </li><li>Identifies opportunities to expand product reach vertically (deeper penetration) or horizontally (expand value). </li><li>Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal partners including Lines of Business leaders, Technology, Compliance, Operations, Branches and other stakeholders in the transformation or introduction of products. </li><li>Develops detailed action plans with schedules, priorities and deadlines that are communicated to and understood by internal stakeholders. Partners with team leaders to prepare and provide schedules and status reports. Resolves issues and solves problems throughout the project. </li><li>Applies skills, knowledge, techniques, best practices, and tools throughout the projects to achieve the predetermined objectives of quality, scope, cost, and time; uses appropriate project management software to track project progress, deliverables, and resources. </li><li>Define and track key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of execution and identify improvements. </li><li>Evaluate the progress and client engagement of both existing and newly launched products and services across multiple client touchpoints. </li><li>Assists with training and support to those engaged in product execution. </li><li>Assists with, and attends, company-sponsored events and seminars as needed, on occasion. </li><li>Conforms to General Performance Expectations as identified for all employees. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications/Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required. </li><li>Minimum of 5 years' experience in related position required. Proven experience in product development, launch, and lifecycle management within the banking sector. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to convey business requirements and updates to cross-functional teams. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A creative mindset to identify and capitalize on market opportunities, driving continuous improvement and efficiency. </li><li>Ability to operate well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. </li><li>Ability to work a non-traditional schedule, on occasion, to meet demands of the job. </li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. </li><li>Ability to travel, valid Driver's License required. </li></ul> <p>Salary Range $70,000 to $113,420 Annually</p> <p>Compensation offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education and, where applicable, licenses or certifications obtained.
