<p>Work Schedule</p> <p>Standard (Mon-Fri)</p> <p>Environmental Conditions</p> <p>Office</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>As a Senior Staff Engineer specializing in equipment for oral solid formulations, you will collaborate with and assist 6 facilities dedicated to solid oral dosages. We are seeking a professional with in-depth knowledge of Solid oral Dose manufacturing equipment. In this role you will provide recommendations on equipment requirements, engage on trouble shoot equipment, assess asset life cycle and support new equipment start ups. This role supports the commercial operations including root cause analysis and problem solving on machine issues on the sites. You will remove roadblocks and drive intensity to the operations, maintenance activities, and capital projects. You will work alongside the sites to guarantee capital project execution, establishment and oversight for all major investments to align with the business plans. This role will be a key partner and collaborator growing consistency in the OSD network. The position involves working closely with Quality, IT, Supply Chain, and Sustainability teams to guarantee that the Capital, Engineering, and Maintenance teams follow policies, master planning, shutdown planning, and fulfill company commitments. This is an outstanding opportunity to create an impact with Thermo Fisher Scientific.</p> <p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Technical domain authority on Oral Solid Dose Equipment</p> <p>Equipment Lifecycle Planning</p> <p>Maintenance Excellence Program</p> <p>Data and information exchange</p> <p>Capital project governance</p> <p>New Asset Start up and Readiness</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field </li><li>Masters Degree is desirable </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>10+ years experience in Engineering with a consistent track record </li><li>Specific knowledge and experience with Oral Solid Dose Pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of granulation, Compaction, Encapsulation, Coating equipment and Processes. </li><li>Knowledge of Pharmacuetial regulatory requirements </li><li>Outstanding leadership and management skills. </li><li>Ability to implement global standards. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Experience in leading teams and/or initiatives is a plus </li><li>Self-directed with strong partner development skills. </li><li>Ability to lead and influence in a matrix and global environment. </li><li>Consistent in delivering results. </li></ul>
