<p>Job Title</p> <p>Project Manager</p> <p>Job Description Summary</p> <p>We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with over 7 years of experience and a focus leading data-driven and artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives. This role will drive end-to-end execution of AI project lifecycles within an Agile delivery environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong track record of managing startup-style AI projects, data infrastructure (including data lake implementations), and working to create and maintain scalable governance and prioritization structures.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Manage multiple AI and data-related projects concurrently, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and business outcomes. </li><li>Coordinate the delivery of AI solutions, including model development, training, testing, and deployment, in collaboration with data scientists and engineers. </li><li>Lead the planning and implementation of data lake platforms and support scalable data architecture initiatives. </li><li>Apply Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) for sprint-based delivery, backlog management, and iterative project cycles. </li><li>Establish and enforce governance protocols and prioritization processes, ensuring transparency, accountability, and quality assurance across project lifecycles. </li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders and product owners to define AI project scope, measurable success criteria, and MVP goals. </li><li>Work with vendor partners and internal teams to ensure AI tool integrations, model monitoring, and data compliance (e.g., data privacy). </li><li>Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, RAID logs, and status updates for leadership reporting. </li><li>Monitor project health using KPIs, proactively escalate risks, and develop mitigation strategies. </li><li>Ensure smooth project handoff to operational teams and AI product owners after formal gate reviews. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred. </li><li>7+ years of project management experience with a minimum of 2 years' management experience, managing AI specific projects. </li><li>Demonstrated experience managing projects with data lake platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Data Lake, AWS Lake Formation). </li><li>Certified in Agile methodologies (Scrum Master, SAFe, or PMI-ACP) and/or PMP preferred. </li><li>Experience working in or managing startup or innovation-driven environments preferred. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Deep familiarity with AI project workflows including model training, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle governance. </li><li>Proficient in tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, MS DevOps, and Confluence for project tracking and reporting. </li><li>Knowledge of data governance frameworks, model risk management, and ethical AI practices. </li><li>Experience managing cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders. </li><li>Comfort working in ambiguous and evolving tech environments, with a bias toward action and rapid iteration. </li></ul> <p>Skills & Personal Qualities:</p> <ul> <li>Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to handle multiple AI initiatives simultaneously. </li><li>Effective communicator with stakeholders at all levels, from technical contributors to executive sponsors. </li><li>Self-starter mentality with high accountability and ownership over delivery outcomes. </li><li>Strategic mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to quality and compliance. </li></ul> <p>Cushman & Wakefield also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life, and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time away from work.
