<p>Java Software Application Developer (56931-1)</p> <p>Englewood, CO (remote work will be considered for the right candidate).</p> <p>12 Months - Contract to hire.</p> <p>Max Pay Rate: $70/hr on W2</p> <p>Team: Aviation Data Solutions team</p> <ul> <li>This organization creates and maintains applications which manage and distribute critical aviation data to tens of thousands of aircraft operators around the world. </li><li>This position will focus on extending, evolving, and supporting eLink Portal, and its migration to a cloud-based infrastructure. </li><li>The successful candidate will drive the daily execution of product development in a fast-paced Agile environment. </li><li>We seek candidates with diverse skills in software development and Agile methodologies. </li><li>As a member of the ADS team, you will be involved in the entire software development life cycle, from idea creation and development to maintenance and support of the deployed system. </li><li>This position will place you in roles where you have the opportunity to have a major impact on the service provided to our global customers, and to enable the rest of the development team to advance the product. </li></ul> <p>Position Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Migrate eLink functionality to an Azure environment, and evolve the product architecture </li><li>Develop, improve, and maintain the web services associated with eLink </li><li>Drive toward the use of additional cloud-native services and capabilities </li><li>DevOps - Continuous integration, testing, and delivery within a CI/CD pipeline </li><li>Contribute to software design and architecture documentation </li><li>Agile development within a cross-discipline, global team </li><li>Exercise critical thinking and innovative problem solving </li></ul> <p>Required Skills/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other technical degree </li><li>3+ years of experience working with similarly equivalent software capabilities </li><li>Experience with Scaled Agile Framework or Agile methodologies </li></ul> <p>Desired Skills/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Java/JSP </li><li>Oracle RDBMS </li><li>Struts Framework </li><li>Spring Framework </li><li>HTML/CSS </li><li>REST API implementation </li><li>SOAP API implementation </li><li>Operating Systems: Linux, Solaris </li><li>Web Application Servers: Apache HTML Server, Tomcat Application Server, WebLogic Application Server, TomEE 8, EJB (2.0) </li><li>CI/CD: Gitlab, Artifactory (good to know Coverity and SonarQube, but not necessary) </li><li>Jira/Confluence </li><li>Azure DevOps </li></ul>
