<p>Job Description</p> <p>Returning UsersLog Back In</p> <p>Role Overview</p> <p>Join a team where patients are at the heart of everything we do.</p> <p>Sodexo is seeking a Patient Services Manager 2 for Yale New Haven Hospitals St. Raphaels Campus, a non-profit, 1,541-bed tertiary medical center receiving national and international referrals. Yale New Haven Hospital includes Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale New Haven, Yale New Haven Children's Hospital and Yale New Haven Psychiatric Hospital.</p> <p>The Patient Service Manager 2 at this location will report to the General Manager and oversee a team of approximately 37 union employees, patient dining program (providing restaurant style & in-room dining options), and resident culinary arts program & events. Training and onboarding of new employees will be a function of this role with a focus being geared towards patient services. Prior union management experience in healthcare food and patient services, required for this role.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>Key responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Leading daily operations of patient food services to ensure exceptional service delivery</p> </li><li> <p>Managing and mentoring union hourly staff with a focus on engagement and performance</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinating onboarding, training, and development programs for new and existing team members</p> </li><li> <p>Ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborating with nursing and clinical teams to address patient dietary needs and preferences</p> </li><li> <p>Supporting the General Manager with strategic initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction</p> </li><li> <p>Managing scheduling, payroll, and operational budgets as needed</p> </li></ul> <p>What We Offer</p> <p>Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
