<p>Apply</p> <p>Job Type</p> <p>Internship</p> <p>Description</p> <p>UCFS is accepting Dental Assistant students for externship!</p> <p>Experiences for students will include:</p> <ul> <li>Assists dentists with all dental procedures utilizing fourhanded dentistry </li><li>Exposes, develops, and duplicates radiographs, takes impressions and pours models per generally accepted practice and department standards </li><li>Provides routine operational support such as performing sterilization and disinfection procedures per OSHA standards; tracking lab work sent and received; maintaining supply stock in operatories; laundering staff scrub jackets and related routine operational duties </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Expectations for the internship include:</p> <ul> <li>Produces work in compliance with quantity and quality standards </li><li>Meets all attendance requirements and arrives to work/events in a punctual manner </li><li>Complies with all safety and regulatory rules and guidelines </li><li>Manages competing demands and organizes work in order to complete in a timely manner </li><li>Works with peers and management in a cooperative, courteous, and professional manner </li><li>Actively engages in meetings, projects, and activities related to organizational mission and vision </li><li>Service, both internal and external, is provided with courtesy and professionalism </li></ul> <p>UCFS is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees as protected by applicable federal and/or state law.</p>
