<p>The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating equipment in the one or more value streams of the Florist operations. This position is responsible for the production of valuable, defect-free products that meet or exceed our customers' expectations. The machine operator will be successful in this position by executing to standard work and adhering to all company policies.</p> <ul> <li>Weighing and mixing raw materials following batch instructions. </li><li>Work with hazardous materials utilizing engineering controls and PPE. </li><li>Willingness and ability to learn and contribute to Lean/5S/Continuous Improvement methodologies. </li><li>Perform production equipment set up, clean up, safe operation, & operator level maintenance of assigned equipment . </li><li>Identify & maintain quality standards while meeting daily & weekly production goals. </li><li>Understand & follow established standard work documents. </li><li>Perform adjustments to production equipment as necessary. </li><li>Communicate production performance to appropriate leaders & departments. </li><li>Support area goals for continuous improvement by serving on project teams as required. </li><li>Adhere to Brady's attendance, safety, & other company policies. </li><li>Maintain general housekeeping & clean production areas at end of every shift. </li><li>Provide support within other production areas as needed & other duties as assigned. </li></ul>
