We're accelerating our momentum as the fastest-growing large consumer goods company in North America by putting people at the heart of our business and everything we do!</p> <p>As a Maintenance Technician you will be tasked to provide competent and effective maintenance support to our plant operations.</p> <p>Position-Related Duties and Key Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Install, repair, and service machinery and equipment support systems. Perform minor electrical repairs and installations. </li><li>Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues; run tests, isolate problems, remove/replace failed components. </li><li>Develop and implement preventive maintenance systems for all production equipment and/or batching/processing equipment. </li><li>Execute predictive and preventative maintenance practices for all production equipment. </li><li>Perform systematic preventative maintenance, including electrical or mechanical adjustments, inspections and minor repairs. </li><li>Understanding of VFD's, Motors, Electrical Schematics, Troubleshooting with a multimeter. </li><li>In a timely manner, identify and correct potential equipment problems. </li><li>Maintain accurate records and logs as required. </li><li>Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) in the execution of the work schedule. Ensures the area is maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly fashion. </li><li>Work directly with cross-departmental personnel and management to problem-solve to ensure maximum production efficiencies. </li><li>Comply with all standard safety practices, safety rules, and all Company rules and policies. </li><li>Maintain proper safety conditions of equipment including immediately correcting or reporting safety issues to your supervisor. </li><li>Read, understand and comply with standard operating procedures and Safety Data Sheets. </li><li>Capture description and procedures used for troubleshooting and repairs performed in CMMS. </li><li>Obtains, drawings, instructional manuals and special procedures, as needed, from files or other sources. Makes any additional sketches, diagrams, etc., necessary. </li><li>Ensures the safety needs are given a top priority in operations support and work execution. Some examples are Arc Flash/Shock Hazard safety, confined space entry, LOTO, Line Break Permit, hazardous materials, hand tool safe use, etc. </li><li>Enforces plant polices in the execution of their assigned duties. Report violations of plant polices to the Management. </li><li>Attends meetings and support continuous improvement initiatives. </li><li>Recommends equipment to be included in preventive maintenance programs. </li><li>Performs other tasks and special assignments as requested by management. </li></ul> <p>Education and Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Associates or Technical Degree (preferred) </li><li>Related Work Experience - 3+ years' experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance </li><li>Prior diagnostic, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance experience </li><li>Previous experience in a high-speed industrial work environment </li></ul> <p>Functional/Technical Skills</p> <ul> <li>Achieve a passing score on the Maintenance Technician test. </li><li>Must supply own tools per the Maintenance required tool list. </li><li>Able to read one-line diagrams, P&ID, blueprints and schematics. </li><li>Able to lift up to 50 pounds. </li><li>Ability to work on multiple levels, such as catwalks, ladders, etc. and ability to work in extreme temperatures. </li><li>Ability to visually identify defective parts. detect defective parts, machine failures, and changes in speed. </li><li>Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under stressful situations. </li><li>Must be able to work flexible shift schedules as determined by business need. </li><li>Must be able to use a computer and associated software programs. </li><li>Perform all tasks in a safe manner to ensure achievement of Quality, Service and Cost objectives. </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <p>Our Purpose and Growth Culture:</p> <p>We are taking deliberate action to nurture an inclusive culture that is grounded in our company purpose, to refresh the world and make a difference.
